Liffey Juliet Balcony
Our most competitive, budget-friendly Juliet balcony, the Liffey offers clean lines with no compromise on quality.
The Liffey Juliet is manufactured fully from mild steel. A robust 40x10mm flat outer frame is infilled with 12mm solid square bars, spaced to meet the requirements of Building Regulations [maximum gaps of 100mm]. Top handrail matches the frame up to 2100mm aperture and is then upgraded to 50x10 for strength. All materials and welding have been signed off by accredited engineers.
Our Juliets are all available to suit standard door/window apertures of 900mm, 1200mm, 1500mm, 1800mm, 2100mm and 2400mm.
Every mild steel Juliet is supplied with a hot-dip galvanised pre-treatment as standard (learn why here). You can paint your galvanised balcony using an appropriate paint or we can save you the hard work and factory finish (a process called polyester powder coating) in a choice of 3 popular colours - black, white, or anthracite grey. A feature strongly recommended by structural engineers, all Forjj Juliets include a minimum of 6 points to anchor to the building rather than 4. This provides fault tolerance for failed fixings and ensures maximum safety. For apertures of 2100mm and above, every Forjj mild steel Juliet includes a bottom central fixing point. Please contact us if you are concerned this could clash with windowsill or other feature and we can offer alternatives.
All Forjj Juliets are 1100mm high and designed and fabricated to fully meet UK Building Regulations; NHBC Technical Guidelines and stringent European CE Regulations. Each balcony has been designed and certified to completely withstand a loading of at least 0.74kN/m.
